The Missile Pod Arm is a ranged weapon arm for the Ridepod in Dark Chronicle. It is not available for purchase, but like all Ridepod parts, the Missile Pod Arm and its later variants can be invented. The Missile Pod Arm is available midway through the game, and sits among the stronger, despite being rather niche, Ridepod weapons. Each Missile Pod Arm is a simple set of two crates mounted on the side of the Ridepod, and when fired the front sides open, revealing twelve missiles. The first version is a simple wooden crate, the second a reinforced crate, the third a metal box, as is the fourth, but with extra gold plating.

Each of the missiles spread out and home in on the designated target, but without a lock-on they are wildly inaccurate, and even with one they are liable to simply hit the walls or a nearby enemy due to their flight path. Because of the latter the Missile Pod Arm is largely useless inside enclosed corridors and similar spaces, but does fair well against grouped enemies or large single targets. As each missile is individually relatively weak, the Missile Pod Arms are more effective against those weak to its sole high stat Flame. Each attack also takes several WHP to fire, making it rather inefficient.

Each part becomes available for inventing in respectively chapters 3, 4, 5 and 6. Although they are each relatively inexpensive to make, the last two types require the rare Flame Stone item, which cannot be invented nor bought.
