The Nikapous is a monster in both Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle. It is found in the Demon Shaft and Starlight Canyon, respectively.

Battle Tactics[]
Dark Cloud[]
At first glance, it resembles a large floating face. However, it can open up to reveal a man (for lack of a better description) inside, his hands apparently holding either side of the split face. At range they can shoot fireballs, and close up they will attempt a kicking attack. It should be noted that while the face is closed, the Nikapous is impervious to damage.
Dark Cloud 2[]
Its appearance, behavior, and attacks are virtually identical to that in the first game, so use the same tactics to defeat it. Its later variations have resistances to certain weapons, making either Max or Monica more capable of taking it out. However, the Ridepod is very effective at taking out Nikapous and all of its variations.
