The Trumpet Gun is a ranged weapon usable by Maximilian in Dark Chronicle. It is a semi-automatic pistol partially made out of a trumpet, hence the name, and a wooden grip. It is the build up version of the Classic Gun, and can itself build up into either the Bell Trigger or the Grenade Launcher. Maximilian's father, Gerald, will also hand him one and requests he turns it into a Bell Trigger to prove he can see things through before he will help him.
Being the second-weakest gun in the game it is likely the player will acquire it soon through synthesis while exploring the Underground Water Channel, although it can also be invented during Chapter 1. Aside from this it can also be found in Starlight Canyon, or bought from Gerald's Guns in Chapter 2, but since he gives one away for free, and the player will likely already have a Bell Trigger by then, both are relatively useless.
Its high innate Cyclone attribute makes it more effective against enemies weak to said element, such as the Bat and Froggy in the Underground Water Channel. Its gun-type damage also makes it effective against the Baron Balloon enemies. Its WHP is also uniquely lower than its predecessor, the Classic Gun.
